Directions to find us:

Take the A428 (heading west-ward) from the 'Black Cat' roundabout signposted Bedford. A few miles after Great Barford the Bedford bypass (dual carriageway) starts. About a mile along the bypass is the junction with the A603 - also signposted A600 Shefford. Follow signs for the A600. Go through Shortstown with the Cardington hangars on your left; through Cotton End; up the hill; past Haynes (on your right). Deadman's Cross is the next village in the 40mph limit. We are on the left hand side of the road.

Leave the A1 at junction 10 (Baldock). Follow signs for A507 (heading west-ward) signposted for Shefford. Follow this by-pass road for several miles past Stotfold; Arlesey; Henlow; Clifton. Keep on the by-pass around Shefford. At the far side of Shefford the A600 is signposted for Bedford at a small roundabout. Follow the A600 - go straight on at another roundabout; still on the A600. Go past Chicksands entrance. There is a large wood on your left called Rowney Warren. The village of Deadman's Cross is only about 1/4 mile farther on. We are on the right hand side of the road.

You have two choices: one is to follow the A421 to Bedford (keep Amazon books on your right); pick up the dual-carriageway Bedford by-pass; leave at the A600 and follow the directions stated above (from A1 Southbound); the second is to go through Ridgemont (Amazon is on your left) on the A507 heading towards Ampthill. Keep on the A507; cross over the A6. Follow signs to Shefford. Pick up the A600 from the small roundabout as described above in 'From A1 Northbound'.
